The confirmation came at the action-packed Call of Duty Next event earlier this week, with co-studio president Chris Plummer saying the delay was because the team wanted to “evolve” the mobile spinoff. This means the original “fall (Q3) 2023” window has now been shifted to spring (Q2) 2024. So Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile has been postponed to 2024.
Warzone Mobile aims to deliver a “premium battle royale” experience on your mobile phone. At launch, there will be fan-favorite maps like Verdansk and Rebirth Island, shared progress from your battle pass, and matches for up to 120 players. Activision recently lifted the lid on the upcoming Warzone map, Urzikstan. Described as an “urban battlefield,” the map will arrive with the first season of Modern Warfare 3 in December. Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile game has been postponed to 2024, but MW3 will be closed for COD lovers.
