A teaser hinted at the same thing.
With Call of Duty: Mobile's second anniversary next month, Activision has started rolling out trailers for the next season. One of them could be Call of Duty: Black Ops 4's Blackout battle royale map.
Earlier today, Activision released a teaser for a feature coming to the game. On Facebook, this teaser is called “Blackout Teaser Video one”, which marks the addition of the BR map to mobile devices.
The official CoD: Mobile handle responded to a user's comment that they "know nothing about it". Still, it seems unlikely that the company will be mocking anything else under that name.
CoD: Mobile will celebrate two years of release on October 1, 2021. Last year, Activision celebrated this event with a full month of celebrations and new features. It also released the Alcatraz map from Black Ops 4 on its anniversary last year.
A year later, it looks like Blackout will now be added to CoD: Mobile. If released, it will be the game's second full-fledged BR map after Isolated.
The game's anniversary will take place in the eighth season, which will arrive towards the end of September. However, the official release date of the new season has not been announced yet.
Blackout is one of the biggest maps in the Call of Duty series. It debuted in Black Ops 4 and sees 88 to 100 players skydiving to compete to be the last man standing. But the mobile version will not be exactly the same and if added it will be optimized to run on handheld devices.
