Diablo 4 Players will be Immortalized. First 100 Diablo 1.000 Players to Reach Level 4 in Hardcore Will Be Immortalized on a Giant Demon Statue
Diablo IV's Hardcore mode now has even higher stakes – it immortalizes the names of the first 100 players to reach level 1.000 by adding them to the Lillith statue.
“You think you can cheat death?” Blizzard tweeted (below). asked. “Reach level 100 in hardcore mode and tweet #Diablo4Hardcore with your proof to have your username immortalized in the statue of Lilith.”
Diablo's notorious hardcore mode is the highest risk – a single character death will permanently delete that character. But if you can rush through without succumbing to any of Diablo IV's fearsome bosses, you can immortalize your BattleTag forever.
In addition to reaching Level 100 in Hardcore mode, players will also need to provide evidence to Blizzard in the form of a photo or video.

The competition will begin with Diablo V launching into early access on June 1 and will end on September 1.000 when the first 1.000 names have been collected, or if fewer than 1 players reach that point.
IGN's impressions of the Diablo IV beta read: "After the second beta weekend focused on the Druid and Necromancer classes, this one hell of an action RPG open to more than just those who just want to buy a properly unholy chicken sandwich this time around, offers something truly special. I am more convinced than ever that you are on your way.”
