Enshrouded: How to Make Tar Faster?
The easiest way to quickly obtain large amounts of Tar is to use the Charcoal Kiln.. When you first access the oven, the Charcoal recipe is automatically selected. However, you can change this at the bottom right of the menu. To start crafting, select Tar, which uses the same resources. I usually fill the Kiln with dozens of logs and Earth lumps to keep it running longer. x30 Log and x6 Soil generate x20 every six minutes.
Another way to produce tar is to burn it while cooking food over a Campfire. Any raw vegetables, mushrooms or meat you have on hand will work. I use the meats with the lowest texture, I only keep the meats with the highest texture for myself.
Overcook food to turn it into Tar. After the ready sound notification and visual change, allow the fire to continue cooking the food until it turns into Tar. You cannot remove food from the fire and replace it to make Tar. I think you should prefer this method of making Tar because you can use unwanted items in your inventory.
Although the drop rate is very low, you can occasionally obtain Tar when collecting extinguished Campfires. These can be found in abandoned camps or ruined villages. Looting these gives you a stack of Campfires and potentially a few units of Tar that you can place in the wild.
How to Use Tar?
Tar has two main uses in Enshrouded. Used as building blocks and as Fireball Staff Charges. The two types of blocks where Tar is required are Tarred Shingle Roof Block and Tarred Wood Block.
When it comes to using a staff, Fireball is a nice AoE Fire attack that works well against clustered enemies like Scavengers. It is also effective against poisonous plants as they cannot leave the area of effect of the spell.
This is the way to quickly get more Tar while playing Enshrouded.
