The news comes with the reveal of a new free-to-play shooter that once again expands the Tom Clancy franchise.
The Ghost Recon series began in 2001 with Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon. It is one of Ubisoft's most popular series. The last entry in the series came with 2019 Ghost Recon Breakpoint, which was poorly received by players due to microtransactions, a lackluster story and bugs. This year, the franchise celebrates its 20th anniversary with the announcement of Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Frontline, which is shaping up to be one of the franchise's biggest titles to date. Fans will face off in large-scale matches with strategy-focused PvP gameplay. The game, which has been opened for the Ghost Recon: Frontline closed beta, will have different game modes that players can get stuck in.
