Season 8 is now available to testers in the Halo Insider program, so be sure to check your email for the invite.
While you'll have to wait a little longer for the next Halo Infinite beta test, the newest version of Halo: The Master Chief Collection has arrived! It allows players to test new features, content and more.
Of course, you must have a profile that is a Halo Insider member for a chance to try the Season 8 beta test. We're sure players with this profile will want to check their Halo Waypoint messages or email address to see if they've received invites. If you don't have a Halo Insider address, you can sign up now. Signing up for Halo Insider is free and easy. However, the number of profiles that receive or will receive invitations is unfortunately limited.
Season 8 beta testing is scheduled to run until September 13, and the full launch for the public will happen after that. With beta testing now open, people are sharing images and details about what's new. This includes the new "Spartan poses". The top three players for Halo 3 and CE will be able to pose to showcase their achievements. Below are some examples from Halo 3 and CE shared by Halo Infinite News on Twitter.
“Season 8 and Halo 3 and CE will have Spartan poses to choose from. At the end of each match, the top 3 Spartans will be displayed in their chosen poses. #HaloMCC”
Here is Halo CE. Both games share the same poses.
Moreover, Season 8 adds a new Halo 2 map in the form of Icebox, a remake of Halo 3's Turf. Looks so sweet.
Looks like new maps are coming in Halo 3 2021…
