League of Legends 13.14 Patch Notes. The entire League patch cycle has been put on hold for a while, but the developers are back with a bucketful of buffs, nerfs, and changes.
A total of 18 League champions are waiting in line for changes (eight buffs, nine debuffs, and even an adjustment, we counted), while 10 items are being replaced by the Riot balancing team in this July update.
LoL balancing boss Matt “Phroxzon” Leung-Harrison explained that the big list of changes has a somewhat symbiotic relationship, while item buffs are packed with heavy debuffs for a few junglers for balance. However, Leung-Harrison, 10 JulyHe confirmed that there will also be "modernizations" for some mages in .
But wait, there's a little more: developers are focusing on jungle Red and Blue buffs for the first time in half a decade, one getting damage debuffs, and the other changing the way ability speed works.
For skins, a Star Guardian skin is arriving a bit late, and a few lucky champions are getting their awesome Soul Warrior skins.
And besides that, League champion 164 is also here.
When will League of Legends Patch 13.14 be released?
Wow, that little Riot vacation felt like a lifetime, didn't it? At least this week, we're finally on track with Lol Patch 13.13, set to release on Wednesday, July 19th, after the entire game was stuck at 13.14 for seven extra days so the developers could get their well-deserved mid-year break.
League of Legends Patch 13.14 will start rolling out at around 10:00 CEST in Australia, where I play. It will also be broadcast on major LoL servers throughout the day.
Here are all the release times:
- 3 AM PT (NA)
- 5 AM (EU West)
- 3 AM CET (EU North East)
- Morning 8 KR (Korea)
Expect a few hours of server downtime as the patch begins to prepare. Matchmaking will be disabled in all League ranks three hours before the update is officially released.
What's In League of Legends Patch 13.14?
The league's 164th champion is Naafiri.
Naafiri and Sandhounds bring all the mobility and explosion a League assassin could ever need, and even add a pack of hounds as their main damage dealer. Could there be anything cooler than this?
The arrival of this new champion on July 19 marks the debut of a new character for the second time in season 13. In the lore part of the work, Naafiri; Aatrox is the fourth playable Darkin in the Runeterra series, following Rhaast (many people I know call him Kayn) and Varus.
Yes, you read that right above; Nearly two dozen champion and item changes are coming with League Patch 13.14. Naafiri might be the lead, but Riot is also trying to make up for the holiday break and really wants to hit the metagame in Summoner's Rift.
First, the debuffs. As far as the characters I played, I was unharmed, but you probably aren't so lucky – Hecarim, Jax, Karthus, Kindred, Milio, Rell, Rengar, Rek'Sai, and even Sion are all weakened. A few tweaks are coming for Yorick as well.
On the other hand, Riot has buffs planned for Aatrox, Diana, Lissanda, Shaco (AD build), Shyvana, Volibear, Xerath, and Zyra.
Five Soul Fighter variants join Senna Star Guardians
For the massive Soul Warrior event coming to Summoner's Rift in July, five League champions will receive skins, including Lux, Pyke (who also has a stylish Prestige style), Sett, Samira and the new character Naafiri. The Soul Fighter version of Samira will be Ultimate and will cost 3,250 RP.
Alongside the Soul Fighter event variants, the AD carry Senna wielding Black Mist and carrying an oversized weapon will also feature a new Star Guardian skin.
However, here are all the skins coming with this patch:
- Soul Fighter Lux (1,350 RP)
- Soul Fighter Naafiri (1,350 RP)
- Soul Fighter Pyke (1,350 RP)
- Prestige Soul Fighter Pyke (2,000 Soul Fighter Tokens)
- Soul Fighter Samira (3,250 RP)
- Soul Fighter Sett (1,350 RP)
- Star Guardian Senna (1,350 RP)
These skins will go live during Patch 13.14.
So get ready to check out all the early patch notes for the July 19 update. Also, keep in mind that until Riot releases the official League notes, any of these anticipated buffs, debuffs, and changes are still temporary and we could see them withdrawn at any time.
