Since its release in 2011, LoL Jungle Champion Jarvan IV has been the primary choice for League of Legends junglers around the world, from the singles casual to the competitive scene. His effectiveness and influence on any team composition has kept him in the meta for years, making him one of the top picks for the singles queue with Patch 13.7.
According to league stats aggregator U.GG, Demacia's Instance currently has a 52 percent win rate at Platinum and above and has the second highest pick and ban rate of any jungler. It has been banned in almost a quarter of all single queue games at this tier, and has been picked more than 5 times since Wednesday, April 93, when the patch went out.

LoL Jungle Champion Jarvan IV is a great choice for junglers looking to add a high-impact champion to any team composition that can build in many ways. Whether the team needs a full tank or a surprising source of burst damage, this jungler is a great early ganker who can push his lane forward with his easy-to-learn kit.
With his ultimate ability, he can lock down multiple opponents and dive into the opponent's backline with ease; which makes it a dangerous foe not to be confronted at nearly every stage of the game. With a well-coordinated build, Jarvan can combine his abilities with many different champions, from a devastating Galio chase to a Yasuo ultimate or an Orianna Shockwave.
To counter Jarvan, players will need to maintain a good amount of area control or a survivability capable of withstanding his first blast. Kindred, for example, is relatively mobile and can evade her CC and even use her ultimate ability to keep herself and her allies alive until they can regroup and counterattack inside Jarvan's Catalyst.
It is unknown if Jarvan IV will receive any edits in future patches, but for now solo queue will continue to dominate worldwide.
