Riot Games has showcased a new winter-themed skin for League of Legends.
The new skin line, titled “Winterblessed,” featured splash splash art for the six champions that were officially announced today. The champions in the Winterblessed skin line will be Diana, Zoe, Zilean, Shaco, Swain and Warwick.
In addition to the six base skins coming to the game, there will be a prestigious version of the Warwick Winterblessed skin. The prestigious version of Warwick's holiday look features an all-new splash art.
The Winterblessed costume line features a wide range of colors, including the soothing mix of purples and greens found in color concepts. The soft, cool colors of winter create a mystical aura for each of the champions in this new alternate universe.
The winter-themed Winterblessed skin line will be the first winter skin line introduced for League of Legends since the Sugar Rush skin line in 2019. Traditionally, winter and holiday skins were an annual event in League, but that was discontinued in 2020, the Snowdown Showdown event.

This year, the Winterblessed skin line features champions who have never had a winter skin before. Of the six champions who received skins this holiday season, only Shaco and Zilean already have winter skins (Sugar Rush Zilean and Nutcracko). Coincidentally, the release of the upcoming Polaris skin line will mark the first time Zilean has gotten a skin since Sugar Rush Zilean was released in 2019.
These new Winterblessed skins have not yet been given an official release date, but it can be expected within the first three weeks of December to speculate on the date.
Abilities and animations for these skins have not been announced at this time, but they are expected to land in League of Legends PBE in the coming days.
