According to multiple sources, Octane and Envoy are expected to join Kenny and Drazah in the Los Angeles Thieves' starting roster leading up to the Call of Duty: Vanguard season.
The LA Thieves have been ridiculed for relocating and signing new players throughout the entire Black Ops Cold War season. The franchise created eight different lineups in 2021 that included Kenny, SlasheR, Drazah, Temp, TJHaLy, Venom, John, and Huke. Thieves haven't seen much success through all these changes. On September 1, SlasheR officially parted ways with TJHaLy, John, and Venom, leaving only Kenny and Drazah on the list.
Octane and Kenny finished second in the 100 Call of Duty World League Championship during their tenure under 2019 Thieves. The couple also won back-to-back tournaments in 2019, winning CWL London in May, where Octane won the MVP award, and CWL Anaheim a month later.
For his second move in the cast, LA plans to add Envoy, who took the short end of the stick this season, after Dallas Empire and OpTic Chicago had him indefinitely excluded.
Thieves' roster leading to 2022 will be completed by Drazah, who will return for its third season with the franchise under the OpTic Gaming Los Angeles brand.
Drazah struggled with roster changes throughout the Cold War season, but got off to a strong start in the last two months of the year. Drazah will play the role of Submachine riffs alongside Envoy, assuming Kenny will continue to play as an Assault Rifler.
