Phill Spencer Talks Xbox Mobile Store Is Planned For 2024!
Aside from my sympathy for Xbox, it's really surprising that they continue to expand across the industry at an incredible pace.
MicrosoftPhill Spencer, who serves as the game president of , informed that it can be opened for the mobile game store next year. Thanks to the new "Digital Markets Act", which forces mobile users to be allowed to download apps from sources other than the App Store and Google Play Store, Spencer believes this will create a "big opportunity" for Xbox.
“This is the kind of thing we're planning for the upcoming Digital Markets Act,” Spencer said in an interview with The Financial Times, as we learned through VGC. “I think this is a huge opportunity. The Digital Markets Act will officially come into effect on May 2. Basically, instead of just Apple and Android stores, publishing companies will be able to set up their own markets. Well of course Activision Blizzard There is a subject. In a news report regarding Microsoft's $69 billion plans, the European Commission announced that it has postponed the tentative decision date on Microsoft's acquisition of Activision Blizzard to April 25. The European competition regulator is one of three main groups Microsoft has to win, along with the UK's Competition and Markets Authority and the US's Federal Trade Commission. The FTC is currently suing Microsoft in a bid to halt the deal, while the major cross-industry union Communications Workers of America has urged the European Commission to agree to the purchase.
