There are new rewards, bonuses and events, including the return of Pokemon Go Mewtwo to raids.
Pokemon Go's new Season of Go runs all summer, from June 1 to September 1. For trainers, this means rewards, bonuses, and a new rotation of wild pokemon. According to Niantic's statement, the following are active bonuses during the Go Season.
- Increased friend bonus damage for raids
- Increased damage for pokemon participating in remote raids
- 1 hour Feed Modules
- 1 extra Special Trade per day
- 1 extra Pokemon Candy when trading Pokemon
- Guaranteed Candy XL when trading Pokemon
- Guaranteed Gifts from PokeStop spins
Events
- Pokémon Go Fest — Launches June 4th For everything known so far about the event, head over to our Pokemon Go Fest primer.
- Adventure Week — From June 7th to June 12th, discover fossils and Rock-type pokemon
- Pokemon TGC Crossover Event — From June 16 to June 30, pokemon TGC and pokemon Go are gaining a pass. No details yet, so stay tuned for what's in store.
