Riot Games has successfully raised more than $2 million for humanitarian efforts in Ukraine and Eastern Europe by selling their games to the four-day fundraiser, and the campaign will continue for 3 more days. The money raised totaled over $3 million in internal contributions. All of these aids are planned to be sent to active duty organizations in the regions.
All proceeds from the sale of battle passes in VALORANT, Legends of Runeterra, Teamfight Tactics and Wild Rift between March 5 and 12 will be donated directly to Ukraine and Eastern Europe regions. Sales of new Bee-themed skins for Orianna, Heimerdinger, Ziggs and Nunu and Willump will also add to the fundraiser with this total.
Riot noted that the $1 million donated by them will be split between the International Medical Associations, Doctors Without Borders and the Polish Red Cross. In a news post, Riot said the proceeds from the purchase of various content and League skins through March 12 will "directly support humanitarian aid in Ukraine and other affected regions." This fundraiser will likely continue to increase in the final days of the fundraiser.
Battle tickets for the latest seasons of VALORANT, Legends of Runeterra, Teamfight Tactics and Wild Rift are now available for purchase in respective stores. The latest Bee-themed skins for various champions in League are also available in the game's store. Players who wish to contribute directly with in-game purchases must do so before March 12.
