Smash Mouth's 1999 hit "All Star" arrived in Rocket League's Item Shop today for 300 Credits and for a limited time as the Player Anthem.
According to the in-game timer, the Item Shop will bring the "All Star" out of shelves within 48 hours of its arrival. Players can purchase the Item for only 300 Credits and there seems to be no way to unlock this anthem for free.
Player Anthems are audio tracks that play when a player scores a goal, makes an Epic Save, or wins an MVP award at the end of a match. Reaching the net with the All-Star will have the song's iconic chorus playing for teammates and opponents alike.
“All Star” rose to prominence after appearing in the first Shrek movie and became an internet meme in the following years, earning herself a page on the “popular meme cataloging website” knowyourmeme.
Players who want to take advantage of the song can unlock it with the in-game All-Star title they can obtain after reaching level 300. Player Anthem is only available for a limited time, so open the game and start playing.
