The playground definitely feels force feedback on this one.
Forza Horizon 5 has left the grid with very positive reviews, with ours considering it the best in the series so far. A cloud in the Mexican skies, however, was that the game ran into issues with launching on PC and immediate steering support – players trying to use peripherals were cursed with endless 'wheel disconnected' warnings while trying to enjoy the ride.
Playground Games confirmed it was working on an anticipated fix last week, but after encountering more issues, the developer delayed it until this week.
In the meantime, if you're having this issue and don't want to wait for Playground to fix it, there is a workaround that our own Jacob Ridley tested and explains here. It apparently “works great” and only takes ten minutes to get started: petrol heads always enjoy a little play under the hood.
