A new to the report According to Electronic Arts, more details about Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will be revealed during The Game Awards next month. Insider-Gaming reports that EA will announce the game's release date, show a new trailer, and confirm when pre-orders will begin at the awards show.
The report stated that the announcement will be made approximately 30 minutes after the show. The Game Awards will start on Friday, December 9 at 04:00 Turkish time.
Earlier, Giant Bomb's Jeff Grubb said that EA will start promoting Jedi: Survivor, which matches The Game Awards, in a rather flashy way in December. The game is said to be released in March 2023.
If Star Wars Jedi: Survivor isn't a Star Wars game that interests you, Disney reportedly plans to launch a new Star Wars game every six months, so it seems quite possible that another project is coming.
Jedi: Survivor takes place five years after the events of Fallen Order in 2019. Players take on the role of Cal Kestis as they “continue to feel the weight of being one of the last remaining Jedi in the galaxy.”
The game was developed by Apex Legends studio Respawn Entertainment and is in development for current generation hardware, so it is not expected to be released on older consoles like PS4 and Xbox One.
Great success is expected from Jedi: Survivor as Jedi: Fallen Order has reached 2021 million players across all consoles, platforms and subscription services as of June 20. (At least the sequel should have the same success in the market with the changes it made)
