The $170 Super Mario 64 Lego set celebrates the game's 25th anniversary and launches in October.
Lego and Nintendo have announced a new partnership for the Super Mario 25 Block set to celebrate the game's 64th anniversary. The set comes with a large question mark block that pops up to reveal iconic settings from the 1996 Nintendo 64 title.
Locations include: Peach's Castle, Bob-omb Battlefield, Cool, Cool Mountain, and Lethal Lava Trouble. The set will be available through Lego retail stores and Lego's website on October 1, and will reach "other leading sales brands" worldwide from 2022. The price of the set is 170 USD(1.434,73 :(( TL).
The set comes with minifigures of famous Mario universe characters like Mario, Princess Peach and Luigi. Mario and Luigi figures can play music and sounds from the game. And finding Power Stars will “reveal hidden reactions from the numbers.”
“We know how much Super Mario fans love the Lego Super Mario experience and want to leverage even more elements of the traditional game that captures the immersive gameplay of Super Mario 64,” said Pablo Gonzalez Gonzalez, Lego senior designer. Said.
“It's hard to imagine the Super Mario Universe without the classic game's iconic levels filled with exploration and secrets. I've played the Super Mario 64 video game, but also want to introduce these great levels to a whole new audience of Super Mario fans.”

Lego and Nintendo are already working together on a variety of products, with the launch of the Lego Super Mario universe series in 2020. The Lego Adventures beginner course with Luigi launched earlier this year.
