According to Tekken leader Katsuhiro Harada, Tekken 7 has officially sold over 10 million copies (roughly 54% of the Tekken franchise's 20 million total sales). Launched in 2015, Tekken 7 has sold over 1 million copies between June and December. Harada reported in June that Tekken 7 had sold 9 million copies.
In 2021, Bandai Namco released a repackaged version of Tekken 7 Definitive that includes the base game and all the content of all four season passes. Since then, Bandai Namco has continued to support the game and additional patches are still in the queue. Tekken 7's next patch, patch 5.10, will include multiple quality-of-life changes. One of these new features will be a broadcast mode that makes the online identity of opponents private and shows the character name instead.
