Riot Games has extended the Teamfight Tactics (TFT) Moon Gala event and temporary mode Fortune's Favor by a few days.
TFT Set 9 event Lunar Gala, which was originally scheduled to end on February 8, and its temporary game mode Blessing of Fortune have been extended, Riot announced today. According to Riot, the event and mode will now run until February 13 at 21:30 PM, giving players additional time to earn rewards in the Blessing of Fortune mode.
Riot didn't mention why the event and the new game mode were extended, but it may have something to do with the cyberattack that forced Riot to delay some balance updates to Patch 13.3. Changes pushed back include a major tweak to Hero Augments that allows players to re-roll up to four times for more options.
The delay gives TFT players additional time to complete Moon Gala missions and rewards, including XP, Star Shard and Lunar Revel egg as rewards. Players can also enjoy the Blessing of Fortune game mode for a short time. The temporary event ramps up the meta by providing players with an opening carousel with tier four or fifth champions, loot orbs that increase in value throughout Tiers, and a Gold orb when below 50 Tactician health.
Players can enjoy the Blessing of Fortune and Moon Gala event until February 13 at 21:30 pm. At the time of this writing, Riot did not reveal whether the game mode will return for Mid-Set.
