Witch It Game modes
Currently, Witch It has six game modes:
- Hide and seek: Hunters must catch all the witches to win the round. Witches win when the limited search time expires or all hunters give up.
- Mobification: Similar to Hide And Seek, but captured witches also become hunters.
- Hunt A Hag: Special abilities are disabled for both teams and hunters can only use melee weapons. Other than that, the mod works similarly to Hide and Seek, with more emphasis on catching.
- Fill the Cauldron: Equally sized teams of witches and hunters compete against each other to fill three of the five magic cauldrons with two ingredients each, or to prevent this from happening. This requires high activity from all players and is therefore rewarded with more experience points than other Witch It mods.
- Creative: Creative mode allows you to create your own levels and scene arrangements. Such levels can be published on the Steam Workshop so other players can download and play them.
- imposturous: Inspired by the game Among Us, as a witch disguised as a hunter, you try to turn the hunters into frogs without being noticed. At the same time, as a hunter, you complete numerous missions scattered around the map. If a frog is discovered or another abnormality is reported, a meeting is held around the council table. There are wild arguments to expose the witch(s) and kick them out of the village by a vote.
