Wrestling star John Cena will be added to the Fortnite character roster. The hugely popular wrestler and movie star will join Epic Games' battle royale game Fortnite as part of the publisher's WWE promotion, which includes Rocket League and Fall Guys.
Today's announcement comes just days after former WWE boss Vince McMahon announced his retirement from the company over multiple sexual misconduct allegations.
The John Cena Fortnite skin will be part of a collaboration between Epic Games and WWE, including Rocket League and Fall Guys, as part of the Epic Summerslam event. Rocket League will see two new WWE-themed cars after Roman Reigns and John Cena; Fall Guys will add new skins for Asuka, Xavier Woods (as King Woods) and WWE legend The Undertaker.
The Epic Summerslam event will kick off in three games on July 28, but at three different times: it starts at 12:00 PM for Fall Guys, Rocket League starts at 19:00 PM, and then Fortnite on July 29 at 03:00 PM. will start the event at .
