Whenever a game has an RPG skill system, I always look for the option to reset skills so I can try different builds. Suicide Squad is no different, with a Borderlands-style skill tree system modified across three pillars. Alright How to respec (Reset) while playing Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League) makes?
Can You Respec While Playing Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League?
First of all, can you respec this game? Yes, you can. What you need to do to respec in Suicide Squad:
- Open the Abilities tab in the character menu.
- Press the “Edit Abilities” button or Triangle on PS5.
- Go to the specific row you want to change.
- Choose a different skill in that row.
- Press the “Exit Edit Mode” button or the Circle button on PS5.
How Does Leveling Work in Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League?
I noticed that you can't progress through a single skill tree like in Borderlands, but you have to follow the game's left-to-right progression across three trees, which is quite odd. As you may have seen by now, there are three columns for each character that you can assign points to as you level up. However, The game automatically assigns points to each column from left to right..
For example, at Level 1 you get 1 point for the first row of the first column (Level 1), at Level 2 you get 1 point for the first row of the second column, and at Level 3 you get 1 point for the first row of the third column. Then, at Level 4, you go back to the first column, but now you get a point for the second row (Level 2). However, if there are two or three options, you can choose which skill to take in each row/Tier, but you cannot go back to previous rows/Layers. Overall, I liked that they made respecing free and easy for trial purposes, but I would have preferred to be able to work my way through a single tree or mix and match them my own way.
