How to Unlock My Hero Ultra Rumble Characters? My Hero Ultra Rumble is Bandai Namco's newest battle royale game set in the My Hero Academia universe. So far, the game has received good reviews for its easy-to-learn gameplay and iconic characters from the series, and if that wasn't enough, it's also free to play. Because of the latter, players have a lot to grind, and that includes characters. Even though this title does a terrific job of explaining a lot of things, getting new heroes and villains isn't very clear. Don't worry though, because we'll tell you how to unlock new characters in My Hero Ultra Rumble.
How to Unlock Heroes and Villains in My Hero Ultra Rumble
There are two categories of characters in the game: heroes and villains. So far, there are more heroes than villains, which suits the setting of the series. Even though they are divided, the only difference is that there are a few things they can do in the game, like save civilians or threaten them. Although the game gives you a few for free, players will want to know how to unlock all the characters in My Hero Ultra Rumble and add them to their roster. There are two ways to do this:
- Temporarily, using Rental Tickets.
- Permanently using Character Tickets.
For the first one, you get three Rental Tickets. These allow you to hire a character for a match. If you use all three, you should get more by doing quests. You need Character Tickets to unlock permanent characters. You can purchase Character Tickets with Hero Souls, a currency you obtain after using the game's gacha system. You gain Heroic Spirits after getting a duplicate item; 300 are required for one Character Ticket.
The process of unlocking characters in My Hero Ultra Rumble can take some time, especially due to its free-to-play nature and associated grinding mechanics. Still, the game is pretty fun and not too punishing for new players. As long as you have a good team, you will be the best hero or villain on the battlefield and unlock new characters in no time.
