Junker Queen's abilities have been released ahead of the upcoming Overwatch 2 Beta. Blizzard has released more details about the abilities of Junker Queen, Overwatch 2's newest hero. Junker Queen is expected to be playable in its second beta.
Junker Quenn's Carnage ability and ultimate ability Rampage inflict damage on enemies. Wounds not only damage enemies over time, but also heal Junker Queen with her passive ability, Adrenaline Rush.
With his Jagged Blade ability, Junker can be thrown to deal damage to the blade, and can summon the blade again by commanding it. Junker Queen's Commanding Shout ability increases both her health and the health of nearby allies, while also granting herself a 30% movement speed increase. Her ultimate ability, 'Rampage', causes Junker Queen to charge forward and inflict wounds on enemies hit. Rampage also blocks the healing of damaged enemies.
Inspired by Mad Max, Junker Queen made its official debut with a new Overwatch cinematic trailer during an Overwatch 2 event recently.
Junker Queen will be playable in the second round of the Overwatch 28 beta starting June 2. Unlike the game's first beta period, the second Overwatch 2 beta will be available on consoles. Players will be able to test rework versions of characters like Orisa, Doomfist, Bastion and Sombra on several new maps, as well as play new heroes like Junker Queen and Sojourn.
Blizzard has big plans for Overwatch 2, the PvP portion of the game will be free and a battle pass progression system will come. Blizzard has released a content roadmap detailing its plans to add an additional tank hero, a new map, and new cosmetics within the first two months after the game's release.
Overwatch 2 will be released on October 4 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox X and S Series, and PC.
